Diocesan Appeal - IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ Posted on Wed Nov 19 2008 Week 31
As you have seen in the bulletin the past several weeks, the amount of money pledged to the Annual Diocesan Appeal has not changed much. This is distressing. The Diocese is counting on us to reach our goal of $122,271. I know that with EVERYONE‘S help we will come through this very challenging time in the life of St. Anthony‘s. History has shown that with prayer and the help of many we can make it through. If we don‘t reach our goal soon, St. Anthony‘s will have to make up the difference out of our already very tight budget. So once again I challenge all of you who have not yet made a pledge to please do so and to those of you who have already opened your checkbooks and see fit to help even more we thank you. You may put your check in the envelope provided at the back of the church or simply put a check in the basket with ADA in the memo.As of November 9, 2008 Goal $122,271 Pledged $102,089 Percentage 86% Families pledged 508 Please be generous in your commitment to the parish and the Diocese. Our Appeal assessment this year is $122,271, so you see we need to do our part. You have had a great track record over the past years, and I am confident that St. Anthony‘s spirit of sacrifice and love for Christ and His church will come through again. Monsignor Frank Chiodo
